Refund Policy

1. Free Trial

Vault Drive offers a 7-day free trial with full Business plan features. No payment information or credit card is required to start a trial. Since no payment is collected during the trial period, no refund is necessary if you decide not to continue.

2. Subscription Cancellation

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings in your account
  • After cancellation, you will continue to have full access to Vault Drive until the end of your current billing period
  • No partial refunds are issued for unused time remaining in the current billing period

3. Refund Eligibility

  • First subscription refund — full refund available within 14 days of your first paid subscription if you are not satisfied
  • Billing errors — refunds for billing errors (duplicate charges, incorrect amounts) are processed within 5 business days
  • After 14-day window — refunds are not available after the 14-day period except at our discretion on a case-by-case basis

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email us at support@vault-drive.com with:

  • The email address associated with your Vault Drive account
  • The reason for your refund request

We will respond to all refund requests within 2 business days.

5. Paddle as Merchant of Record

All payments for Vault Drive are processed by Paddle.com, which acts as our Merchant of Record.

  • All refunds are issued through Paddle's payment system
  • Paddle handles any applicable tax refunds automatically
  • Refunds typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider
  • The refund will appear as a credit from Paddle on your bank or card statement

6. Data After Cancellation

  • You have a 30-day grace period after your subscription ends to export your data using our one-click export feature
  • After 30 days, all files are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered
  • Account data is removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy
